programme note

I wrote this as a Christmas present for my parents. My Mum had played the flute when I was growing up, and has recently and enthusiastically taken it up again. My Dad has rediscovered his singing voice in the past few years, and has joined many choirs around where they live in Cornwall. This piece is a celebration of their rediscovery of their musical selves.
